I've had a Tesla since 2018. First a Model 3, then a Y after my son bought the 3. They are amazing cars - there is nothing like them. But I can't handle the association with Elon. I have looked at other EVs - Kia, Hyundai, and Honda. The ones I test-drove were "fine." There was no real comparison to driving a Tesla. So all I have really done, so far, is get a decal that says "In my defense, I bought this before he went nuts," and stick it to the back of the car. I figure the newer ones are being bought be Elonstans. I cannot imagine my getting one today.

Elon isn't interested in Tesla anymore! He's going to Mars and we the tax payers are going to pay for it. When you play with rockets you need a lot of moola and the government can all he wants.

I got my first Tesla a few months before Elon went full-MAGA. I am getting a car magnet that will read "I got this car before I realized Musk was crazy". I like the car, which is much more than I can say for the founder.

Snarky Musk commentary is hardly the way to engender substantive engagement amongst readers.

Mike I love you buddy but come on with the grammar. Also, how do your posts not get more love? Gotta start dropping it on the pod.
